This college was relocated from Dhule, Dist. Dhule to Parbhani on June 15, 1968. It operates under the Department of Higher Education, Maharashtra, and functions according to the affiliation and control of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.
The college boasts an enriched academic environment thanks to its expert Principal and faculty members who possess deep educational insight; this is the very key to our college’s success. Over the last 46 years, the number of teachers who have received pre-service and in-service training from this college is approximately 5000. These trained teachers are successfully employed in high positions within the education sector, as well as in administrative services. Many teachers have been honored with Ideal Teacher awards at the local, state, and national levels.
The trainees continue to uphold the college’s successful tradition of excellent results. Along with the regular B.Ed. program, a vacation B.Ed. center of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik is also operational here.
A well-equipped library is a hallmark of the college, with numerous individuals from the education sector in the city and district holding memberships.
Since its upgradation to a College of Teacher Education (CTE) in 2004-2005, the college has been developing as a major center for in-service training for secondary school teachers across the 5 districts of Parbhani, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur, and Osmanabad. This is a matter of pride for us.
